.... yesterday prompted us to tackle the big spring job on the pool - a thorogh clean up - the patio, especially under the cover, becomes quite dirty during the winter. The pool water is in good condition - just a clean of the floor was needed. The cloudy weather recently has caused the water temperature to drop since my return last weekend when it was 24c, and it's now 22c.
Yesterday also gave me the first opportunity to set up a small weather station which I brought back with me. It took a little longer than expected because the pool sensor, despite being new, failed to work. It took me a while to track down the problem, which turned out to be some corrosion on one of the batter contacts. Given it was a new product I don't quite see how that could have happened - anyway, it was easy to fix, once diagnosed. Despite the station display, it's cloudy this morning, once again.
