I finally slept through to a sensible time this morning, albeit after several interruptions during the night, so hopefully that should be the worst of the jet lag behind me now. Usually I find the adjustment going East to West is quite easy, but that hasn't proved to be the case on this occasion.
This plant grows wild in the hedgerows in this area - it seems to attain the size of a small tree ultimately. I don't know what it is! This specimen has grown up in our garden over the last few years, and it's currently adorned with these bright pink berries which certainly look quite striking as much of the garden is moving towards a more drab winter garb.
