They were clearly a little uncertain about this flying thing at first, and they tended to sit in the tree for a good half an hour or more after tumbling out of the nest box. Eventually they would pluck up enough courage to fly around, although it was clearly something of an effort.
They were to be seen around the nest box, often sitting on top of it, for a day or so, but they seem to have dispersed now.
