... has given us a spell of settled weather of late, with cold nights but sunny days, and a southerly wind has helped to produce some very pleasant afternoons with the temperature reaching 22°c on Tuesday.
The main activity recently has been gathering up the leaves from the many trees around the house. This is always a significant task this time of the year, but the dry conditions certainly make it easier.
High pressure also tends to produce some lovely skies both at dawn and at dusk this time of the year - this photo was sunrise yesterday morning.
