... which has allowed for some outdoor jobs to be undertaken this week end.
The poly-tunnel which we got last year has survived the winter and reflecting upon last season, we decided it would be better to reduce the shelving and install another bed.
Still making use of the wood from our old sun deck, we made the modifications this afternoon. It will take another couple of trips to our local "déchéterie" to fill up the new bed with compost, however.
There are some signs of spring in the orchard now, with flowers buds becoming very evident on the peaches and nectarines, whilst some young strawberry plants are looking strong and healthy in the tunnel.
A long awaited job was also accomplished, namely running a second wire from the satellite LNB to the TV. This has been on the "to do" list for ages - at least a couple of years! Anyway, it's done now, giving some added functionality to our system, especially with regard to recording.
Have you sampled any of the live recordings of choral music featured on the Moments Musicaux page of the website?
Or there's a Christmas Carol selection available here.
