I took another trip to Sham Shui Po and picked up a few shots to add to this collage of iconic Hong Kong images.
The very old banyan trees sprout from pavements and squares which have been built around them ..... they are all numbered and protected.
Much is still moved around by hand, even in the busiest parts of the city.
The city's emblem is taken from the Hong Kong Orchid Tree (although it's not any kind of orchid, it's a member of the pea family). They are found all over the city, and there's always a few flowers around, even out of season.
