.. with some cooler weather and we were beginning to think that autumn had arrived early, but after 3 or 4 days things returned to normal.
Over the last week it has been really rather warm with most days reaching the late 30s.
Yesterday was the village's annual Vide-Greniers sale, and by 2pm the temperature was approaching 40c which made it a little uncomfortable, even in the shade of the awning.
Such events don't result in a lot of sales, but it does mean that more people are aware of us as a local business ... eventually that results in useful orders as a rule.
The hot weather is due to last a few more days before returning to more seasonal norms in the mid to late 20s for the rest of the month.
