.... today, as the settled spell continues into its second week.
The days are getting much shorter now, though, and it was dark tonight before 9p.m. The weather might be summery, but other signs remind us of the passage of the seasons.
It was finally time to burn up the large pile of trimmings which had built up over the last few weeks, and by late afternoon the sun was already behind the oak trees. I tried in vain to get a shot with the sun's rays coming through the smoke, but the wind was just not obliging.
I continue to refine the new website for the printing business, although progress isn't as rapid as I would like it to be. Nonetheless, it is up and working reasonably, so far.
