.... which included a trip to London for work purposes, I was finally able to rebuild my antenna system, some 20 months after it was brought down by a freak storm.
The job isn't quite finished yet, as the wiring needs to be tidied up, and the beams aren't quite aligned, but as darkness was falling yesterday there was not time to do any more.
The settled weather has continued with some lovely clear days, but it has been very cold at night. Last night the thermometer in the polytunnel registered a minimum of -5.6c - the coldest night of the winter so far. By contrast, the daytime temperatures in there are reaching above 40c at times.
