... during the night on a southerly wind, bringing the first rainfall in weeks. It wasn't heavy though, and the mild air resulted in an over-night low of 17c.
This morning is dull, with heavy cloud, and the damp, autumnal stillness is very seasonal. The forecast suggests the day will improve as it progresses, and the week ahead should be another very pleasant one. This will be prove helpful as there are some important jobs to do outside in the garden before I set off for my next tour to Hong Kong on Friday.
The sunflower harvest is mostly gathered in now, and the light rain over night will hopefully have settled the dust which has been something of a feature over the past week or so.
