... with sunshine and 25°c was both unexpected and appreciated at this time of the year. It made the transition from Hong Kong's sub tropical climate back to European autumn a little less of a shock that it often is.
The young pansies we planted along the deck before I left at the very start of October have filled out nicely, and hopefully they will give us some cheer over the winter which lies ahead.
As always, there's lots to do in the garden after an absence, and we made a good start yesterday. The
weather should be fine for a couple more days yet, so hopefully we can get back on top of things fairly soon.
