..... on some outside jobs today. It rained quite heavily during the night, so there was no chance of mowing, but there was plenty else to get on with. Having moved the kiwi plant to a more suitable spot, a campsis is now installed in the very sunny location which it had vacated.
The geraniums have survived the very harsh winter remarkably well, with only a couple of casualties; I spent the afternoon putting them back out into the planters along the sun deck.
There were some good spells of sunshine, although plenty of cloud as well - ideal weather for gardening. In a sunny moment I went round with the camera and got some pleasing shots - among them this one of a ribes flower - I think the contrast of the sun on the flower and leaves, against the darkness of the hedge behind creates an eye-catching image.
